The Masked Singer is less than a week away, and we can hardly wait!
The bizarre musical show will see a host of new characters take the stage and sing their heart out as Australia attempts to guess who is behind the mask.
This year, we have a Popcorn, Thong, and even a Rooster in a dapper suit, and that isn’t even scratching the surface.
The season is yet to kick off; however, there is one mask that’s already making its mark: Snapdragon.
That powerful voice definitely belongs to a superstar, as only a seasoned professional would have that kind of stage presence.
Despite wearing an enormous costume, Snapdragon still managed to deliver the vocals in the short promo released by Channel 10.
Singing Never Enough from The Greatest Showman, the mystery celeb left panellists Abbie Chatfield, Mel B, Chrissie Swan and Dave Hughes with goosebumps.
We’re already making our guesses as to who the voice could belong to, but we’ll have to wait till the show premieres on August 7 to check out the official set of clues.
Once again, the brilliant Oscar, BAFTA and AFI-winning costume designer, Tim Chappel, designed some extravagant and heavily detailed masks, and it’s honestly a wonder that people manage to perform in them.
His imagination knows no bounds, and we’re already buzzing with excitement at the thought of watching some of our favourite celebs perform.
The Masked Singer Australia premieres on Sunday, August 7 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
