‘The Challenge Australia’: Conor Curran’s Unorthodox Workout

It’s been a bumper year for competitive reality TV in Australia and sneaking in before 2022 closes is Network 10’s latest series set to have us binging every episode, The Challenge Australia.

Hosted by Brihony Dawson, The Challenge Australia pits 22 sports legends, influencers and reality TV stars against one another to compete in a series of physical challenges all while living together in one mega-luxe and mega-romantic villa while vying for the ultimate prize of $200,000. Oh, and did we mention some of the contestants have dated before? What could possibly go wrong when living with and competing against your ex?

Among the crop of sporting stars and reality show favourites is MasterChef Australia alumni Conor Curran, who says his preparation for the show included “going to London and partying for a month, then I came back and went to the gym a couple of times.”

No stranger to competing against people that quickly become friends, Conor says his secret weapons include his social game, swimming skills and his “bang-on earrings”. Honestly, we have to agree with him, they’re amazing.

One thing Conor says he won’t stand for, though, is his competitors or partners being rude. “I hate rudeness for no reason, so if I catch people being rude I will be the first one to step in and say ‘Absolutely not!’”

The Challenge Australia airs at 7.30pm on Network Ten on Mondays and Tuesdays. Catch up on 10 Play.
