Australia’s most successful renovation reality program, The Block, is back.
Returning on Sunday, August 23, for its 16th season — they’re stepping back through time for a challenge unlike any other.
Just like previous years, five couples will transform five dilapidated houses into five luxury homes, delivering a room each week to be judged and scored.
This season, five-period homes from the 1910s, 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s, all in a dire state, have been uprooted and transported to a 2761-square metre block of land in the heart of sunny and affluent Brighton in Melbourne — and within walking distance to the beach.
This year, five brand-new partnerships are ready to pick up the hammer, don a toolbelt and seriously transform these properties into gold.
