All of ‘The Block: Fans vs Faves’ Guest and Re-Do Room Reveals

The Blockheads have been busy this week as they worked on their guest bedroom and Re-Do room in time for the reveal.

It’s been 45 days in total since the first day of renovation on The Block: Fans vs Faves, and everyone is officially halfway there.

Let’s take a look at how they did.

Kirsty and Jesse

Spending $19,855, Kirsty and Jesse delivered a stunning Hamptons-inspired kids room the judges loved. The lighting was great and the wardrobe was well styled. The only criticism was the lack of storage. Their Re-Do room also impressed the judges.

Mitch and Mark

Mitch and Mark spent $22,461 in total and used the money to create a dream bedroom for the kids. While the judges loved the styling and concept, they weren’t a fan of the layout. Shaynna also thought there were far too many Velux skylights. For the pair’s Re-Do room, the judges agreed that it flowed much better with the rest of the house, unlike their first attempt.

Josh and Luke

Unfortunately for Josh and Luke, the judges were less than impressed with their room, saying it’s a “misstep”. All three judges agreed that the room was awful, with nothing appearing cohesive. They also didn’t like their Re-Do bathroom, saying it looked worse than the original attempt. They spent $17,248.

Ronnie and Georgia

Spending $24,680, Ronnie and Georgia’s guest bedroom was a smash hit with the judges, with Shaynna saying it was her favourite room on The Block so far. From the finishing on the door to the styling, there were no faults to be found. In the Re-Do room, the couple was praised for widening the walk-in-robe in the Master Bedroom.

Tanya and Vito

Similar to Mitch and Mark, Tanya and Vito created a kid’s themed room, but while Neale loved it, he did point out that it may prove to be a setback with buyers who don’t have children. As for the Re-Do room, the judges were thrilled the couple removed the brown tiles and instead, replaced them with a more neutral colour. They spent $15,220.

In the end, Ronnie and Georgia managed to take home the win once again.
