Bottomless brunches make an occasion out of an otherwise ordinary brunch. You might dress up a little more, eat and drink more and spend a lot longer at the table than you usually would.
Fortunately, when it comes to bottomless brunches, Sydneysiders are spoilt for choice. Whatever food you’re craving — Mexican, Italian, modern Australia — a Sydney brunch has got it. Ahead, we share some of our favourite spots across the city to properly do Sydney bottomless brunch.
Rocker, North Bondi
Rocker sits at the North Bondi Shops area, at the top of Campbell Parade. Its $85pp bottomless brunch is available Thursdays to Sundays across three sitting times, 11:30am, 1:45pm and 4pm. You and someone else or a group will share the likes of shaved prosciutto over melon, housemade focaccia and rigatoni with slow-braised beef cheek ragu.
Darling Pavilion, Darling Quarter
Fried artichokes, cauliflower hummus and mini lamb burgers with tzatziki and spinach are among Darling Pavilion’s Bottomless Lunch menu. The $89 per person lunch is available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm ‘til 3pm. Kick it off with a margarita made with Altos Tequila before enjoying two hours of free-flowing beer, wine or sparkling, alongside the set menu.
Dead Ringer, Surry Hills
Dead Ringer occupies a heritage townhouse in Surry Hills. Every Saturday to Sunday from 11am, it serves a set long lunch menu that’s $45pp with an additional $45 giving a house aperitif on arrival and free-flowing wine with your meal. The set menu includes house-made focaccia, mortadella and green olives, and grilled rainbow trout.
Cabana Bar, CBD
Despite Cabana Bar being in the heart of the city, in Martin Place, it feels worlds away — like you’re at a resort. The venue’s $89pp bottomless brunch is on every Saturday, with seatings at 11:45am and 2pm. The brunch includes share dishes, as well as unlimited margaritas, spritzes, seltzers and mimosas.
Untied, Barangaroo
Every Sunday 12pm to 6pm, rooftop restaurant Untied puts on its Vegan Brunch. For $55pp, you’ll be treated to five courses of vegan dishes, and, if you opt for a $19pp bottomless add-on, unlimited vegan prosecco.
Babylon Rooftop, CBD
Unless you were looking for Babylon Rooftop, it’s unlikely you’d stumble upon it. To get to it, you have to either go through Westfield Sydney or enter via a discrete escalator from Pitt Street Mall. If you’ve arrived on a Saturday at 11am, you’ll make its $68 bottomless brunch, which includes an always-changing share menu and unlimited mimosas.
SoCal Neutral Bay, Neutral Bay
SoCal’s bottomless fiesta lunch is from 12pm to 3:30pm from Fridays to Sundays. For $89pp, you’ll be treated to a banquet share menu, cocktail on arrival and, throughout your meal, your choice of French rose, prosecco or beer. Live musicians play on Sundays between 1-4pm.
Luke’s Kitchen, CBD
Luke’s Kitchen at Kimpton Margot Hotel on Pitt Street runs a regular $99 bottomless brunch every Saturday, which sees you feasting on five courses, plus drinking endless sparkling and rose. Check online, though, for one of its special themed brunches — Halloween Drag Brunch and Out @ Margots Drag Brunch.
Little Pearl Bar and Dining, Manly
Boogie Brunch is the name of Little Pearl Bar and Dining’s bottomless brunch offering, on every Saturday at 12pm and 2:30pm. For $95pp, the experience includes six courses of Asian-inspired dishes, two hours of unlimited spritzes and background tunes, courtesy of Australian band Sexy Sunday Jam.
Mille Vini, Surry Hills
While Italian restaurant Mille Vini doesn’t have a bottomless brunch per se, it does have a set menu called Mille Vini’s Groove. For $85pp, you’ll be served scallop crudo, battered zucchini flowers and potato gnocchi, among other dishes. It’s an extra $65pp for wine pairing.
Forrester’s, Surry Hills
Surry Hills pub Forrester’s serves an $89 bottomless brunch all week long, from 12pm to 3pm in its dining room Phylli’s. Lunch includes crispy chicken wings, pea and feta fritters and grilled barramundi, with bubbles and beer unlimited.
The Sheaf, Double Bay
Every Saturday, Double Bay landmark The Sheaf throws a Bring Me Margys bottomless brunch. For $99pp, you’ll get two hours of your choice of four bottomless margaritas: Tommy’s, chilli, watermelon and mango. You’ll also get a shared food menu that includes truffled bechamel croquettes with parmesan and pesto and grilled saganaki with truffle honeycomb and thyme. Brunch is on from 12pm to 3pm.
Poetica Bar and Grill, North Sydney
This November, Poetica launched a free-flowing Saturday lunch for groups of four or more. The $150pp package includes a three-course shared feast and two hours of bottomless cocktails —espresso martini, Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz spritz and a tropical spiked punch —as well as beer and wines curated by a sommelier.
Casa Rosa, Chippendale
Casa Rosa is the venue on the rooftop of the Abercrombie, and every Saturday from 12pm to 5pm, it holds a bottomless long lunch. Called Italo Disco at Casa Rosa, the $150pp package consists of a three-course shared menu and two hours of cocktails, beer and wines. Expect on the menu the likes of roasted garlic focaccia, fritto misto and prawn rolls.
Loulou, Milsons Point
Feel like you’re in Paris or Provence at Loulou on Lavender Street in Milsons Point. The venue’s $110pp Rosé a Volonté bottomless lunch starts with bread and butter from Loulou’s Boulangerie next door before going into mains and sides like chicken liver parfait and salad with blue cheese dressing. Wash it all down with two hours of bottomless rosé.
Rekodo Restaurant, Barangaroo
You’ll find Rekodo Restaurant and Vinyl Bar on the first floor of Barangaroo House. The venue’s recently launched Jukebox Bottomless is every Saturday and Sunday. Simply spend $50pp on food and you’ll be able to add on a $75pp drinks package of free-flowing watermelon margaritas, seasonal spritzes and prosecco. Choose your own tunes on the restaurant’s jukebox.
Franca Brasserie, Potts Point
This corner of Parisian glamour in Potts Point offers a crumpets and caviar menu for $125 per person, which includes mini crab rolls and the option of a main and dessert. Of course, there’s an additional bottomless drinks package, available for two hours, priced at $65 and $95. When sipping on the $95 menu, guests can expect flowing glasses of Moet & Chandon Ice NV Champagne, Mimosas, Belvedere vodka-mixers and Young Henrys. If you’re feeling bougie and want to get the girls together over the holidays, this experience will have you feeling like Emily in Paris, with Mindy, of course.
