Splendour in the Grass Reveals Its Line Up for 2022 and It Is Stacked

Splendour In the Grass 2022

The news music lovers have been waiting for is finally here — the lineup for Splendour in the Grass 2022 has been revealed.

While we already knew that Gorillaz, The Strokes and Tyler the Creator would be headlining the annual festival, a plethora of amazing acts have now been added to the bill.

Among them are: Glass Animals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Duke Dumont, Jack Harlow, Yungblud, Jungle, and Kacey Musgraves, Dillon Francis, Mura Masa, Sofi Tukker, Aitch, Wet Leg, Holly Humberstone, Biig Piig, Oliver Tree, JPEGMAFIA, renforshort, Maxo Kream, PUP, and Liam Gallagher.

If you’re already wondering how so much good music could be crammed into a couple of days, the list does not end there.

Joining the international artists will be a bunch of local legends including Ruby Fields, DMA’S, Genesis Owusu, Baker Boy, Budjerah, Miiesha, JK-47, Violent Soho, G Flip, The Jungle Giants, Amyl & The Sniffers, Ruel, Cub Sport, King Stingray, Stella Donnelly, The Chats, Sycco, Confidence Man, Julia Stone, Triple One, Sly Withers, MAY-A, George Alice, and Hooligan Hefs.

The lineup is obviously massive and very fitting for a much-loved event that hasn’t taken place since 2019 thanks to everyone’s arch-nemesis COVID.

The festival, which is held on the land of the Arakwal Bundjalung People and the wider Bundjalung Nation, was initially postponed in 2020 until October but was then cancelled entirely. This year’s festival, initially set to take place in July before being rescheduled to November, was also cancelled as a result of the virus outbreak in NSW.

Anyone with 2021 tickets can use them for 2022’s event or apply for a refund. Otherwise, tickets are on sale from December 6 at 9am at Splendour’s official website.
