South Australia will reopen its borders to travellers from NSW as early as this Thursday, September 24, provided no COVID-19 cases relating to community transmission are recorded today.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, South Australia Health has been in discussion with NSW Health about the risks and logistics following concerns around a COVID-positive Sydney taxi driver, who according to ABC News, worked eight days while infectious.

Despite fears of a fresh outbreak, SA Premier Steven Marshall feels confident he has received “all necessary information”.

“The advice is that this is the right decision,” Marshall reportedly told media this morning.

As for where Sydneysiders may like to go in South Australia? Well, if you ask us, we’ll be heading to Adelaide Hills region.

It’s but a 30-minute drive away from Adelaide city, but couldn’t feel further away from the noise and lights of the skyline.

With rolling hills, stunning scenery, and some of South Australia’s best food and wine, the region offers a truly blissful escape much quieter than regions with similar offerings.
