Second only to sleeping in cosy linen sheets is donning a head-to-toe outfit from Jac + Jack. Made from breathable and buttery soft materials tailored for comfort, style and breeziness, the fashion label does casual luxury better than most.

Now, the Australian label has teamed up with bedding brand Sheridan for a collaboration that’ll make it even harder to get out of bed in the morning.

Jac + Jack’s Jacqueline Hunt and Lisa Dempsey, alongside Sheridan’s head designers, worked to create the limited-edition capsule collection of understated bedwear, which makes the most of premium, natural fibres like cotton and hemp.

Hunt says working with Sheridan resulted in a “dream collaboration”.

“We both value the creative process, we both have a commitment to quality and we are both on a journey to incorporate a responsible design ethos into our brands.

“We also share the love of how something makes you feel. Style is one thing, but we both know how important something is to touch and then in turn how that makes someone feel.”

And Joanna Ross, general manager of innovation and product at Sheridan, agrees, saying: “This collaboration recognises the alignment of values within both brands. Jacqueline and Lisa approach their designs with the same respect for quality, comfort and considered style as Sheridan.”

The collection features two quilt covers, a fitted sheet, and a European pillowcase. Like the racks of apparel at Jac + Jack, the collection is designed to be layered and personalised through styling touches.

Designs and patterns used in the collaboration are also symbolic of traditional garments. “The percale sheets mirror a crisp button-up shirt, the brushed finish of the euro represents a tailored jacket or blazer and the reverse of each quilt cover reveals a contrasting tonal colour or pattern,” Sheridan says in a press release.

Colourways remain somewhat muted, designed to blend seamlessly with the Australian home aesthetic of beige and white. The Selvedge quilt cover features a tonal dusty blue, while the Braid quilt cover boasts a gorgeous dusty pink shade with a striped reverse side.

Prices start from $79.99 for a standard pillowcase or Euro and climb up to $429.99 for a super king standard quilt cover set.
