Abbey Holmes: Can This ‘Survivor’ Contestant Win ‘SAS Australia’ This Year?

Abbey Holmes is on SAS Australia in 2023.

Do a bunch of Aussie celebrities have the mental strength needed to join the Special Forces? Based on the hit UK TV series, SAS Australia puts this idea to the test, which brings us to Abbey Holmes, one woman trying to become an SAS Australia legend.

But who the heck is Abbey Holmes? What makes her a celebrity? And most importantly, does she have what it takes to survive the SAS Australia gauntlet?

Here’s what we know.

Abbey Holmes Vs SAS Australia

Abbey Holmes is a former AFL player who competed for the Adelaide Football Club. What’s more, she was brilliant at this job. In 2014, she became the first woman to kick 100 goals in a single season.

What’s more, Abbey is no stranger to reality TV. She competed on both Australian Survivor: Champions Vs Contenders and Australian Survivor: All Stars. Such experiences will more likely be useful on SAS Australia.

Does Abbey Holmes Have a Partner?

Abbey Holmes is engaged to another former AFL player, Keegan Brooksby. In 2020, they announced their engagement.

What Does Abbey Holmes Do Now?

When Abbey isn’t on a reality TV stint, she might be commentating a sports game. In 2022, she was a part of Channel 7’s commentary team for the Commonwealth Games.

Abbey also does speaking events. At these events, she discusses the two hardest things she has ever done: Being on Survivor and dealing with the failure of her activewear business, Esnetica.

You can gobble up SAS Australia in October on Channel 7 and 7plus. In the meantime, you can tune into the previous seasons on 7Plus.
