Who’s Who on ‘The Bachelorette’? Meet Ritu, the Hopeless Romantic

Ritu The Bachelorette

She’s career-focused and looking for a solid partner to spend her life with, and Ritu hopes that special someone is Brooke.

“I think Brooke and I are very similar. Not only are we both POC queer women, we are both based in Melbourne and passionate about mental health and trauma recovery. I studied law so that I can support women who have experienced any kind of abuse,” she told Ten.

The 25-year-old filmmaker is a hopeless romantic and once in a relationship, provides her attention, support and trust to her partner. She does have a drawback though, revealing she’s not very intuitive.

“Sometimes I am not good at being emotionally aware of other people’s feelings.”

The brunette beauty certainly seems like a great match for Brooke, but whether she can steal her heart will have to be seen.

Brooke is the first Indigenous and pansexual Bachelorette the franchise has ever seen, and in a move that has never been done before, the contestants on this year’s season are a mix of men and women.

From a former contestant on The Bachelor to a carpenter who can build a bench in a few minutes, the latest season of the show is definitely going to be an interesting one.

The Bachelorette Australia airs at 7.30pm every Wednesday and Thursday on Channel 10 and 10play.
