One Major International Celebrity and Three Australian Superstars — Who Are ‘The Voice’ Judges for 2021?

When Channel 7 announced their new line-up for 2021 back in November, fans of The Voice were surprised to see their favourite TV show had moved to the network.

However, along with the announcement came questions. Many, many questions. Who would be hosting the long-running series (Sonia Kruger, duh!)? What would the format look like? But more importantly, who would the new judges be?

After Boy George announced on Twitter that Seven couldn’t “afford” him, the fate of Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian was still in question.

Now, Seven has announced the all-new line-up for The Voice 2021 and it is a BANGER!

Joining host Kruger is returning judge, Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy (we love this), country music legend Keith Urban and international superstar, Rita Ora.

“I love The Voice and I absolutely adore Australia so this is a match made in heaven,” Ora said in a statement. “Having been a coach on the UK series, I know just how powerful it can be in making dreams come true. I can’t wait to find Australia’s next superstar.”

Urban is thrilled that the “stars have finally aligned” and has signed on ten years after “spinning” in the first season.

“Just before getting back on stage around the world, I’ve been invited back alongside a very cool and musically diverse panel.”

For Sebastian, the evolution of The Voice in 2021 is “genuinely exciting.”

“I am so happy to be working alongside these amazing coaches. I have known Jess for a long time, I am a huge admirer of Keith and Rita is a great talent. I really feel like this panel will genuinely nurture a new generation of artists.”

And for Australian darling, Mauboy: I’m so proud of the talent that exists in this country. I know firsthand exactly how life-changing a show like this can be, so I’m honoured to be part of such an experienced team of coaches and I’m looking forward to some amazing chair-turning moments.”

The 10th season of the singing competition will also feature surprising new elements, plus the strongest ever line-up of artists competing to be crowned the winner.
