When Anya Taylor-Joy was in Sydney recently alongside co-star Chris Hemsworth to promote their film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, she stayed in style — at one of the city’s best-view hotels (presumably).

Park Hyatt Sydney on Hickson Road in The Rocks has rooms with unparalleled views that look out at Sydney Opera House  The actress shared an Instagram carousel of photos from her stay in Sydney, including two that showed the hotel’s balcony view of the iconic landmark.

The hotel, which lines the harbour between Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, offers 155 one, two and three-bedroom apartment suites. All rooms have balconies overlooking either the Opera House or the city and Sydney Harbour. Its crowning jewel, and likely where Taylor-Joy stayed, is the Sydney Suite.

The roomiest of its three rooftop suites, at 350 square metres, the Sydney Suite has views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city skyline from its wraparound terrace. It’s rumoured to have hosted Drake, Kylie Minogue and Pippa Middleton when she honeymooned in Australia.

The two-bedroom suite features a separate sitting area, powder room, walk-in wardrobe, full kitchen with dining table that seats eight and freestanding bath. It’s also equipped with a dry sauna and steam room and comes with airport limo pick-up and drop-off.

Like all Park Hyatt Sydney’s suites, the Sydney Suite has specially commissioned artworks from renowned Australian artists, luxury fabrics in its homewares and furniture, like silk, soft leather and plush velvet, and Le Labo toiletries. Their decor is in chocolate, cream and beige hues.

The Sydney Suite also has private wharf access so you can come in and out of the harbour discretely, 24-hour butler service and complimentary limo service to Sydney CBD every morning.

Though once you check in, you likely won’t want to leave your room, the hotel does also have a rooftop that’s heated in autumn and winter guests can choose from, as well as a spa with massages and facials, gym and three food and drink venues.

The Dining Room by James Viles is a fine dining restaurant, The Living Room is a casual eatery and The Bar is located in the hotel’s lobby.

In addition to the Sydney Suite, the hotel also has the Cove Suite, Quay Suite, Rooftop Suite, Harbour Suite and Opera Suite, with the last featuring no less than six balconies and 185 square meters of space.

The Sydney Suite’s room rate is said to cost around $22,000 a night. Though, if that’s out of your budget, standard one-bedroom apartments at Park Hyatt Sydney start at around $1400 a night.
