There’s just something about staying in the business district in Sydney’s CBD when I’m there for a work trip that just never gets old (yet).
On my last night in Sydney during AAFW, I stayed at the Novotel Central Sydney in Haymarket. It’s the perfect classic hotel; retro patterned carpet, buffet breakfast, firm (but not too firm) pillows and all.
Let’s break it down.
I walked into a deluxe suite and was greeted with a bouquet of beautiful white flowers, a balcony looking out onto lush greenery, a super soft and comfy looking king-sized bed and nice, minimal decor.
Located within walking distance of Darling Harbour and Sydney’s
leading entertainment precinct, Novotel Sydney Central is everything you could want out of an inner-city hotel, whether you’re there for business or pleasure.
They have a 24-hour gym, 24-hour room service, daily housekeeping, a heated rooftop swimming pool and spa, Thomas St. Kitchen & Bar and buffet breakfast.
My buffet breakfast the next morning, complete with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, spinach and a strong coffee, was the perfect start to a busy day at fashion week.
My stay at the Novotel Sydney Central was fab, I really couldn’t have asked for a more professional and comfortable environment.
