Netflix is set to release its biggest project yet. Featuring a star-studded lineup, the streaming service has posted a teaser to Don’t Look Up.
Starring A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep to name a few, it’s safe to say, the feature film is not here to play.
Leonardo plays a professor alongside Jennifer, who is a grad student. The two team up to try and warn the public of a life-ending comet, in a time where the world is consumed by social media and has a very little attention span.
But those two are just the tip of the iceberg, with Meryl playing the US President, Jonah Hill as her son and Cate Blanchett and Tyler Perry hosts of a breakfast show.
Even Ariana Grande makes an appearance.
Adam McKay, who is known for his work on The Big Short, directed and wrote the title.
Don’t Look Up will be available to stream on Netflix from December 24th, but will be arriving in “select” theaters on December 10th.
The movie seems like a frontrunner for the Oscars, but whether or not the cast can live up to their name is yet to be seen.
