Friday, 2 June, is National Doughnut Day, the greatest of days since the recent National Burger Day.
National or International Doughnut Day is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year and actually traces its origins back to World War I.
This year, doughnut shops all around Australia—throughout Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, Adelaide, and Darwin—will be selling our holey hunger saviours in bulk, offering specials and even some special doughnut recipes to mark the day.
