If you live across the bridge, make the trip to Harris Farm Market’s new Lane Cove store for gelato pints and chilled Bavarian cream pies from Messina. That’s right, Messina has moved in, and Lower North Shore residents can’t get enough.
This Gelato Messina’s first ever retail concept inside Harris Farm. Shoppers will find an exclusive range of grab n’ go gelato pints designed to stock in your home freezer and eat straight from the tub. Flavours include French vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate, berries and cream, cookies and cream, and choc chip.
Chilled Bavarian cream pies are also available in choc malt, iced vovo, lemon meringue and tiramisu flavours. The iconic gelato cakes are available to purchase as well as a smorgasbord of frozen family cookie pies and rolls of cookie dough, ready to bake at home.
Want more options? There’s a build-a-cookie-pie station offering customisable family pies baked fresh on site. Choose a Messina-made dough, fillings and toppings of your choice, and any gelato accessories such as dulce de leche, waffle cones and dessert spreads.
Harris Farm Lane Cove also welcomes the first Rebel Donuts in Sydney and an in-house bakery by The Cook and The Baker—a famous Bondi bakery.
Other features include a popcorn cart for fresh popcorn daily, A Pour Your Own section for honey, milk, coffee, and nut butter. Shoppers can get small goods from Salumi deli and grab-and-go meals from the Hot Counter.
To celebrate the store opening, the retailer’s loyalty program, Friend of the Farm, is running a sign up competition to win free fruit and veg for a year, plus additional exclusive discounts and secret menu items with the store’s concession partners.
