MasterChef Australia 2021 has served up some of the most talented home chefs we’ve ever seen, however, being a competition, each week, we’ve seen them sent home.
If you can believe it, we’ve already seen 10 leave the kitchen — with one more to come on Sunday, May 30.
As we know, the series is full of twists and turns and as of Monday, May 31, all 11 cooks (including Sunday’s eliminated contestant) will be back in the famed MasterChef kitchen.
“You guys will be cooking for one of two places back in this competition,” judge Melissa Leong said in a clip released by Network Ten.
During the video, fan-favourite Conor Curran said that the way he left, “broke my heart”, while Minoli DeSilva added: “I’m going to fight harder than I fought for anything.”
“I’m going to fight harder than I fought for anything,” Therese Lum also says.
There’s no doubt the 10 have been biding their time before their second chance and it looks as though they’ve been skilling up in the meantime.
“When you cook like that, it’s a wonder how you ever left!” Leong added.
