MasterChef Australia is on the precipice of returning, and we couldn’t be more excited. Alongside Andy Allen, the 2024 series will star three fresh judges, the critic Sofia Levin, the French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, and MasterChef’s very own Poh Ling Yeow. The show is also headed to Hong Kong for three episodes, where it will explore the culinary delights of this city. MasterChef’s 2024 season will also feature 22 new cooks, one of these people being Khristian.

Who Is MasterChef Australia’s Khristian?
While MasterChef Australia’s Khristian might look like a gruff bloke, he’s a man who wears his heart on his sleeve. Whether Khristian’s in the kitchen or chatting with his mates, he’s very comfortable expressing his feelings.
In one of the first episodes of MasterChef Australia 2024, Khristian displays this positive trait. When meeting the episode’s celebrity guest judge, Jamie Oliver, he starts to cry. According to Khristian, Jamie’s early TV shows are what inspired him to refine his culinary skills.
“If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be cooking,” Khristian tells Jamie.
“My mum, she works so much she’d be like, ‘I can’t cook you guys. You’re going to have to work it out, I have to work.’ Turn on the TV, and the first thing I see is this beautiful man. He taught me everything I know today.”
Later, Jamie reveals that he’s taking the best chef of the day to London. The pressure is on Khristian to deliver the most memorable dish he possibly can.
