Stepping up to the guessing panel on The Masked Singer 2023 is one of Australia’s media OGs — Chrissie Swan.

She joins Abbie Chatfield, Mel B and David Hughes for another season of surprises, unmaskings and laughs.

When she’s not playing the role of the Masked Singer‘s resident CSI sleuth, her media chops extend far beyond the judging table. Here’s a rundown on Chrissie Swan’s career journey so far.

Chrissie Swan was first introduced to the world of Australian media when she placed second in the 2003 season of Big Brother. Fast forward 20 years later and she continues to make an impression on Australian audiences with her knack for public speaking and bubbly personality.

Before she taking a seat on The Masked Singer 2023 guessing panel, you might have heard her voice on the radio via Chrissie, Sam & Browny or more recently, The Chrissie Swan Show. Her on-air broadcasting career has helped to pivot two Melbourne FM shows to number one.

When she’s not behind the mixer and mic, Chrissie is in front of the camera. Over the years, she’s competed on some of Network 10’s most iconic reality shows, like Celebrity MasterChef Australia 2021, and stepped in to fill Carrie Bickmore’s seat on The Project in 2022.

Her Logie-award winning presentation style is backed by her gifted writing skills. Adding to her already long list of accomplishments, The Masked Singer judge published her first book in 2015 titled Is It Just Me? (Confessions Of An Over-Sharer).

The self-appointed over-sharer isn’t afraid to speak her mind and often does so to bring attention to the realities of being a working mother.

This year, she returns for her second season on The Masked Singer judging panel following the show’s success in 2022.

Can Chrissie Swan use her wit and keen eye to reveal who’s behind the masks? Find out on Mondays at 7.30pm, when The Masked Singer 2023 airs on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. Miss an episode? Catch up on 10 Play.
