‘Married at First Sight’ Has Announced a Premiere Date So Get Ready for the Drama

Get ready for all of the drama because the brand new season of Married at First Sight is set to air early next year, and Channel 9 have treated us with an exciting new trailer.

Season 9 of the controversial show will debut on Monday, 31 January and fans are already preparing themselves for the cattiness, gossip and relationship drama.

The teaser, which was released on Christmas Eve, is just as dramatic as one would expect, and gave a sneak peek into the brides and grooms who will take part in the “social experiment”.

Opening up with a cinematic clip of Sydney city, a blonde woman is shown looking out from her high-rise apartment, while a man with a buzzcut is checking his reflection out in a mirror.

“As midnight approaches, time is quickly running out to find your one true love,” says the narrator.

Relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling along with sexologist Alessandra Rampolla will return to help guide the newlyweds through the intense experiment.

Fans can expect to sit through Dinner Parties, Commitment Ceremonies and a week of Home Stays in the latest season, plus a huge scandal that has never happened before in the history of the show.

Fans can not wait to binge the series, taking to social media to express their excitement.

One said it was the “best Christmas gift,” and another wrote that they were “ready for the drama again”.

It seems like 2022 is already shaping up to be a great year, and with our favourite shows making a return, we can’t wait to head into the new year. So the question is, are you ready for the drama and scandal?

Married at First Sight premieres on January 31 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
