Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of Married at First Sight put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicked off on Monday, January 30, at 7.30pm on Channel 9, and it premiered with a bang. We’re also teased some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.

Jesse
Formerly in a heavy metal band, Jesse is now a Perth marriage celebrant who officiates in a rock star style. He’s done over 500 weddings, so has found himself continuously surrounded by love and commitment, which has left him wanting that for himself.
Jesse has had two serious relationships in the past that both grew from an instant connection. His expectations to find that spark again are high but he’s also extremely fussy when it comes to choosing partners and has a rather large number of turnoffs which gives him the “ick”.
