Tick Off All Your Kid Gifts With These Lego Sets on Sale For Black Friday

Amazon Lego deals

The Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are underway and there are a stack of deals on LEGO sets this year. Some of these are recent and popular picks, while others are prized among collectors and quite hard to find.

Below, you’ll find our picks for the best sets from the sale and how much you can expect to save.

LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348)$372, save $126

This is the first official Dungeons & Dragons set from Lego, and it is a whopper. Weighing in at 3,745 pieces, this is a fantastic set for the grown-up D&D fan in your life. This set features a castle, a medieval tavern and a large, fire-breathing red dragon, which keeps its construction feeling varied and challenging.

LEGO Icons Pac-Man Arcade (10323), $315, save $84.99

A semi-recent set that’s become quite hard to find, the Lego Pac-Man Arcade is a fun build that adds up to an arcade cabinet for your shelf that can actually be played! Clocking in at over 2,600 pieces, the set includes both the arcade cabinet and a stand alone model of Pac-Man and his ghost enemies too! The perfect set for the video game fan in your life.

LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser (75367)$785, save $214

Wait, hold on, I know, that’s a big price tag, but hear me out. The Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (or UCS) is a cut above your average Lego set and is coveted by Brickheads around the world. A Star Wars UCS set lovingly recreates fan-favourite starships from the beloved franchise in a large, room-filling scale. This set was highly requested by fans of the Prequel films and launched earlier in the year. It weighs almost 5,400 pieces and will look very imposing on your shelf.

LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon (75192)$979, save $320

Of course, if we’re talking about Star Wars UCS sets, then I’d be remiss not to include the crown jewel. The current UCS Millennium Falcon is considered one of the greatest Lego sets ever produced. It has been available for years and keeps coming back because, despite its high price point and gigantic size when completed, fans can’t seem to get enough of it. 7,500 pieces, eight minifigs, figuring out where to put it when you’re done will be a challenge, but my goodness, does it look cool.

With $320 off its $1300 Australian RRP for the Amazon Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, this is one of the deepest discounts on the UCS Millennium Falcon you’re likely to find anywhere.

LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box (21347), $145.50, save $54.49

Let’s get back to some more reasonably priced sets, shall we? The Lego Ideas Red London Telephone Box set launched earlier this year and became an instant hit. The iconic phone box comes with a small, unmistakable London setting including a cobblestone street, fence and street lamp.

Many enterprising Doctor Who fans have used the design of this phone box set to recreate the iconic TARDIS using the same bricks in blue, a process called Kitbashing. I’m just saying what we’re all thinking: it would make a great TARDIS set, and it isn’t hard to turn it into one.

LEGO Icons McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna (10330), $65.99, save $34

The explosion in popularity of Formula One thanks to Netflix’s Drive to Survive TV series has seen Lego rush to create new F1-themed Lego sets. One of the best arrived earlier this year, a recreation of the legendary McLaren MP4/4 F1 car and its driver Ayrton Senna, widely considered the greatest of all time. This set is far easier to construct than the fiddlier Technic models like the 2022 McLaren or the 2023 Mercedes, but more complex than the Speed Champions F1 sets for younger builders.

LEGO DC Batmobile: Batman vs. The Joker Chase Set (76224)$58, save $14.99

I might be outing myself as a nostalgic Millennial here, but ok, fine, whatever: the Batmobile design from 1989’s Batman directed by Tim Burton is iconic. It’s the greatest Batmobile design ever committed to the screen or the page and here it is, once again rendered in Lego form for everyone to enjoy. Perfect for the younger builders in your life, this is a set that should only take a couple of hours to complete and should be a joy to put together.

LEGO Ideas Family Tree Set (21346)$89.99, save $40

I think this set is such a brilliant idea. This set allows you to built a little family tree decoration that you can keep on your shelf at home or your desk in the office. The set, once complete, allows you to hang to little picture frames on its branches, frames that can be filled with small pictures of your loved ones. It’s such a clever and interactive design that I can’t believe Lego didn’t get on it earlier. One of the best sets to ever come out of its fan-driven Ideas platform.

LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster (21329), $139.99, save $40

This is the set for the music fan in your life. The Fender Stratocaster set has become a real rarity in the last 12 months, a popular build that got scooped up by collectors and those who love Lego’s more esoteric designs. The build includes the famous guitar itself along with an amp to connect it to. The guitar can be created in its famous red or black colourways, and bricks for both are included in the box. This might be your last chance to grab this particular set before it’s gone for good, so hop to it.
