The Gold Coast is getting a new beach club, and yes, it has been designed with the community in mind and will suit all ages. Kurrawa Beach Club is set to open at Kurrawa Terrace on Saturday, 4 December at 12 pm.

The trial Beach Club will run until Sunday 30th January and will be the perfect place for locals and visitors alike to relax and enjoy the views of the beach’s golden sands and rolling waves.

Guests can relax on the daybeds, deckchairs and in the VIP cabanas and casual dining areas. The summer-inspired menu will feature favourites including prawn and Moreton Bay Bug rolls, burgers, and seafood skewers. All this will be served from the container kitchen.

Don’t worry, there are plenty of summer sips to be drunk from the onsite bar. Expect a line-up of homegrown brands on the list including Grandad Jacks Gin, Black Hops Brewing and Hard Fizz.

The club will also support a local charity, Albatross Nippers, donating one dollar from the sale of every prawn and Moreton bay bug roll on Sundays. So you’re all caught up, Albatross Nippers is a Gold Coast-based nipper program for children with special needs. The program aims to promote beach awareness, community spirit and fun all within an inclusive surf lifesaving environment.

The Kurrawa Beach Club will offer innovative contactless ordering through Mr Yum with all items taken directly to guests, so the summer vibes never have to stop. With a focus on sustainability, the venue will be using Bio Cups and Bio Consumables.

On Saturdays, enjoy a waterfront pilates session followed by a coffee or juice and menu item for $45 as part of the Saturday Pilates Brunch.

Sunday Brunches will also be a weekly occurrence, with two drinks and an item from the menu for $40.

Kids will also be catered for with a dedicated kids play area, kids menu featuring fish & chips, mini beef sliders and fried chicken as well as free face painting from 12 pm every Sunday.

For the young adults, the Kurrawa Beach Club will showcase the best local Gold Coast artists and DJs every week. On Thursdays expect local artists from 6 pm, and live music, soloists and DJs from 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 pm.

The official launch party will take place on Saturday, December, 11, where locals are invited down from 5 pm for a big afternoon of live music, summer sips and lucky door prizes.
