Pinterest kids bedrooms

Among the rooms in a house, a kid’s bedroom has to be one of the most fun to put together. From choosing the wallpaper, stencilling or paint, to picking the furniture and home décor, you and your bub can really let you imaginations run wild, either in line with a theme or mixing and matching what they (and you, of course) love.

But with so many options for each element, it can be overwhelming when it comes time to decide. Jungle Theme

A modern take on bunk beds, this setup uses mustard curtains kids can close to feel cosy in their bed.

This room uses safari wallpaper, a leaf-shaped rug and green floor-to-ceiling curtains to set the jungle tone.

A bed shaped like a safari tent, a feature green wall and a plant in the corner add a touch of the African Savannah to this room.

Princess-Themed

This fairy princess-themed room was created for a five-year-old who’s loved to swing since she was a baby. A canopy over the bed give it an ethereal feel.

Wallpaper featuring a rose design and drapes over the bed’s frame making the bedhead resemble a castle make this room perfect for any princess fans.

Pirate

While this pirate ship-shaped bed might be hard to find, you can take elements from this room to inspire a setup for your Captain Cook-loving tot.

Want to include a pirate theme, but don’t want to go all out? Book an artist to come in and hand paint the wall with a simple pirate pattern. Or, find some stencils and do it yourself.

Boho

Buy a rattan bedrame and side table for a boho bedroom. Accessories-wise, stick with neutrals or earthy tones.

Here, the boho effect is achieved mostly through the flower and shell-shaped rugs, as well as the patterned bedspreads.

Modern Rustic

A minimalist wood bedroom, rattan hanging lamp and pale green chest of drawers give this room a farmhouse feel. A massive white rug completes the look.

Wood is front and centre in this room, giving it that rustic touch.
