Rapper Kanye West has a habit of turning heads. Most recently, his bid for President has raised eyebrows after a spout of tumultuous live events and Twitter rampages.
Now, director Eli Russell Linnetz — who also helmed West’s Fade and Famous videos, has released a video he directed three years ago, featuring the unreleased music video for Tyga and West’s 2016 track Feel Me.
Via an Instagram post, Linnetz posted a clip which featured both Kim Kardashian West and Kylie Jenner in bikinis.
“I directed this three years ago. No one’s ever seen it before,” he wrote.
According to Uproxx, the project was canned after West’s new commitment to Christianity — which seems appropriate since there is a scene where Jenner seemingly emerges of Kardashian West’s vagina.
In an interview with E! News, Linnetz said that the Feel Me video depicted a “quasi-birth”. “It features Kylie coming out of Kim’s vagina. The metaphorical meaning being that there would be no Kylie without Kim,” he said.
The video reportedly cost $1 million USD and took five months to shoot, however, because Jenner and Tyga split shortly after, it ended up on the cutting room floor.
According to the director, the video is “the visual smashing of American iconography, man-made machinery battling man-made women,” and is “a battle of machines set in a futuristic mysterious magic arena”.
There’s no word on why Linnetz chose to release the clip now, or if either West, Kardashian West, Tyga or Jenner allowed him to — however, it certainly is an experience.
