Sam Frost’s love life might just be getting a little warmer with the former Bachelorette star igniting rumours that she is back with her ex-boyfriend Dave Bashford.
The duo, who split in July after a three-year relationship, have been spending time together which Frost, 31, documented on her social media.
In a video uploaded to the actor’s Instagram stories, Frost appeared with the dog she shares with Bashford, captioning the post: “Swimming lessons with Greg”.
Frost also shared imagery of her, Bashford and his brother enjoying a stroll with their pups.
The exes seemed to remain on good terms after their breakup with Frost calling her former partner an “amazing person” in a September interview.
“It wasn’t an ugly or messy break-up. It was just two people who love each other dearly as friends, and we promised to look after each other,” she said. “Dave is one of my best friends and for me, we will always support each other, so it was easy. We knew there was a lot of speculation.”
Frost’s followers cottoned on to the fact the couple had gone their separate ways back in July, when the Home and Away star captioned a social media post with the hashtag #31singleandfabulous. Shortly thereafter, her spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph that the two were no longer in a relationship but said: “they remain great mates.”
At the time, a source close to the couple told Woman’s Day: “It all became too much for Sam who was going through a lot. Her career was taking a new path and her mental health was definitely not where it needed to be. When things are good, they’re both very happy, but the lows are bad. They argue over trivial things.”
For her part, Frost has become a mental health advocate after revealing to TV Week back in May how her family and friends had supported her when she was subjected to intense tabloid scrutiny.
“It wasn’t a great time for myself or my family,” she said. ‘Thankfully I have [my family], Dave and a circle of girlfriends who know me so well and the sensitive side of me . . . I feel blessed I can count on them to lift me up and make me stronger.”
Frost first came to public attention in 2014 after appearing on The Bachelor where she got engaged to Blake Garvey only for him to leave her for third-place contestant, Louise Pillidge.
She went on to become Australia’s first Bachelorette in 2015 and now appears as Jasmine Delaney in Home and Away on Channel Seven.
