Australia’s favourite reality series — I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! — always brings some of our brightest stars into the jungle. In previous seasons, it has starred the likes of the netball icon Liz Ellis and the brilliant singer Casey Donovan. I’m a Celebrity 2024 is continuing this proud tradition, putting reality TV juggernaut Khanh Ong back in the spotlight.
But Khanh won’t be pampered on this series. He’s instead trapped in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, competing in challenges for food and other basic necessities. The only way he can exit the jungle is by winning, being voted off by the public, or saying the iconic phrase, “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here.” The winner of I’m a Celebrity gets $100,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

Who Is I’m a Celebrity’s Khanh Ong?
I’m a Celebrity’s Khanh Ong is best known for competing in the 2018 season of MasterChef Australia and the 2022 season of Survivor Australia. Khanh came third in MasterChef Australia and 13th in Survivor Australia. He has a lot of experience navigating the drama that defines many reality TV shows.

In 2023, Khanh starred in a cooking show called Khanh Ong’s Wild Food. In this series, Khanh travelled around Australia to discover fresh and exciting ingredients to cook in the wild.
When Khanh isn’t starring in reality TV shows, he’s helping run The George on Collins, a much beloved Asian restaurant sitting in the heart of Melbourne.
What Charity Is I’m a Celebrity’s Khanh Ong Competing for?
On I’m a Celebrity 2024, Khanh Ong is competing on behalf of the charity Minus18 Youth. Minus18 Youth educates schools, parents, and communities about what it’s like growing up as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
