Get ready for the ninth season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! as a fresh batch of celebrities gear up to compete in the jungle in 2023. Although details have been kept hush-hush, the first promo has been revealed, and we’re in for a wild ride!
Mark your calendars for the show’s premiere on Sunday, April 2 at 7.30pm. Unlike previous years when the show aired in January, this year Network 10 had to make room for The (much delayed) Bachelors. We’re just excited to have it back now.
What’s more, we’re thrilled to announce that fan-favourite hosts Julia Morris and Dr. Chris Brown are returning to the iconic South African Treehouse for another year of adventure and excitement.
What to Expect From I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2023
In the teaser, the hosts perform a musical number before boarding a flight to South Africa.
This has piqued the curiosity of fans, who are eager to discover exactly which celebrities will be taking on the challenges of the 2023 season. Although no names have been announced, Morris and Brown give some clues about who will be heading to the jungle.
In their skit, they assume the roles of air hosts and mention a “famous footballer” who has won the Brownlow Medal, a “comedian”, a “TV host”, a “boxing lightweight”, and a “famous chef”. Any guesses on who they might be referring to?
A Radio Host and UK TV Star Teased
The latest clues that have been revealed tease a radio host and UK TV star are headed to the jungle.
The first video begins with a large lizard crawling around a radio studio. Then, a voice-over says: “A radio host that loves to kiss and tell will have plenty to say in the outback and jungle.”
The other preview says “drama will be a ‘shore’ thing” when the UK TV star enters the jungle. A Geordie Shore star, perhaps?
The 2022 season saw former TV and radio host Dylan Lewis crowned as King of the Jungle, with singer Brooke McClymont coming in second and former AFL coach and player Nathan Buckley in third.
