‘Hunted Australia’: Can Boxers Taylah and Glenn Knock Out the Hunters?

Hunted Australia Taylah and Glenn

Australia’s favourite game of cat and mouse is back. After its 2022 premier, Hunted Australia quickly became one of the most popular new shows of the year. This year, Chief David Craig says that the Fugitives have levelled up. Coming in more prepared, the Fugitives are ready for a “showdown” with the Hunters, but of course, not everyone will make it to the end and claim their stake of the $100,000 prize.

Hunted Australia Cast 2023: Meet Taylah and Glenn

Queensland duo Glenn, 50, and Taylah, 24 are a boxing duo ready for the challenge of a lifetime on Hunted Australia 2023.

Professionally, Glenn is Taylah’s boxing coach, but the pair share a close bond. Taylah considers Glenn to be a mentor and father figure to her, both in her professional and person life. Their relationship is built on a foundation of respect and admiration for one another.

Taylah began boxing at the age of 12. At 15, she won her first Australian title as a junior. Now, she’s a five-time Australian champion, she won a bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and she competed in the 2019 World Championships.

Currently, Taylah is the number one ranked Australian female boxer in the super fly weight division, and she has a fight coming up soon, which means she’ll be training the whole time she’s on the run from the Hunters.

Meanwhile, Glenn is a former soldier of the Australian Army. He has over 17 years of military experience that took him to combat zones all over the world, which is sure to come in handy while they’re on the run.

Glenn and Taylah’s Hunted Australia Plan

Glenn and Taylah’s plan is to utilise their different strengths to divide and conquer the different elements of the game. Glenn’s all about the strategy, so he’s ready to make the decisions, while Taylah is ready to let her social skills shine when they need to ask strangers for help.

The duo consider their large age gap to be an asset for them, as they’ll be able to take their perspectives from two different generations and find the best approach in any given situation. The fact that they’re both incredibly athletic won’t hurt, either.

Referred to in a press release as two “Terminators with heart” Glenn and Taylah are ready to take on the Hunters. But will they make it to the end? Only time will tell.

Hunted Australia airs at 7.30pm, Sunday — Tuesday each week, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. Miss an episode? Catch up on 10 Play.
