Holly and Josh Are a Competitive Couple Ready to Win ‘Hunted Australia’

Hunted Australia Fugitives Holly and Josh

Hunted is back, and Chief David Craig says that the Fugitives have learned from last year. Chatting to The Latch, the Chief said that viewers should expect “a showdown” between the Hunters and the Fugitives this year, and when there’s $100,000 on the line, it’s a high stakes game of cat and mouse. Of course, not everyone will make it to the end. Let’s meet two of the people joining the Hunted Australia cast this year.

Hunted Australia Cast 2023: Meet Holly and Josh

Adrenaline junkies Holly, 23, and Josh, 25, are a couple from Victoria who are all about friendly competition.

Bursting with energy, the loved-up couple are always challenging one another, but now, they’re ready to team up and take on the Hunters.

Holly and Josh know that Hunted will put their relationship to the test, but they’re expecting (or perhaps, hoping) it will bring them closer together.

In a press statement, they likened themselves to Katniss and Peeta from The Hunger Games, noting that Josh is the “brains”, while Holly is the “heart” of their operation.

Holly and Josh’s Hunted Australia Game Plan

When they’re not on the run, Josh works as a paramedic and rifleman in the Australian Army Reserves. On Hunted, he’s planning to put his skills to the ultimate test. We’re talking surveillance, survival techniques, camouflage, escaping capture and remaining calm under pressure — Josh is ready to bring it.

Meanwhile, Holly is bringing her people skills to the table. She’s a dancer and a natural extrovert with a large social circle. So, you can expect to see her draw on her wide network to help them through.

But that’s not all — the couple are also planning to use disguises to evade capture. Holly knows how to work magic with special effects makeup, and she’s ready to combine her skills with Josh’s experience in camouflage so that they can fly under the Hunters’ radar.

How Holly and Josh Would Spend the Prize Money

Like many young couples, Holly and Josh have faced financial struggles, so winning Hunted Australia would be life-changing for them. If they win, the money will go toward a house deposit for them.

Hunted Australia airs at 7.30pm, Sunday — Tuesday each week, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand. Miss an episode? Catch up on 10 Play.
