If you’re a Farmer Wants A Wife fan, then chances are you’re still recovering from the bombshell that came out on Wednesday, July 28.
And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, let me give you a refresher.
Contestant Hayley Love is pregnant, but it’s not Farmer Matt’s child, who she was originally paired with on the show, but Farmer Will’s.
They aren’t in a relationship anymore, but Hayley released a shocking statement to news.com.au, saying she has “decided to keep the baby, because I have enough love for this child with or without a biological father. I will be enough for him or her.”
After the news came to light, Hayley deactivated all her social media accounts, but she did briefly resurface to share an ultrasound of her unborn child along with another statement.
Hayley said she was overwhelmed by the “amount of support” she had received after sharing her story.
“I was absolutely terrified to come out with a statement as I am struggling with my mental health,” she wrote, thanking her close friends and family for their support during this time.
“While the rumours were spreading I became a complete wreck. I removed myself from social media to recover from all the awful comments I was reading about myself and even other girls/farmers.”
“I am going to let the dust settle over the next few days but just wanted to jump on quickly to say a massive thank you. My heart is so full and I know bubs is going to have so much love.”
Farmer Will on the other hand decided to post cryptic quotes on his Instagram after declining to comment.
“A wolf does not concern himself with the opinions of sheep,” he posted.
Uh, okay then.
Safe to say, this drama is definitely not over yet.
