Blending hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and traditional musical theatre, the show created a revolutionary moment in theatre when it premiered on Broadway in 2015. Today, it has toured the world and is currently undergoing a German language version, set to open in Hamburg in October.
Brisbane boy Sami Afuni is set to play the role of Hercules Mulligan and James Maddison, after joining the cast in August.
Hamilton’s Brisbane season will kick off on Friday, January 27, 2023.
