Sydneysiders Can Score a Free Shave or Beard Trim Right Now

Sydneysiders can currently head down to Bondi for a free shave or beard trim care of Gillette. As part of Movember, the grooming company has created a pop-up by the beach, which according to Boss Hunting, is under the name of its new line, King C. Gillette.

You can have your mo managed, beard trimmed or a full shave carried out by a barber in the pop-up KCG Barber Shop which in the spirit of Movember, is also a good opportunity to have a chat about anything that might be playing on your mind.

Every November, the team at Movember encourages men to grow moustaches to raise money and create awareness around men’s health. Since 2003, Movember has tackled tough topics like mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer and has successfully challenged the taboo around these topics.

Gillette’s Barber Shop will be open from November 7 to November 22 every Friday to Sunday for free grooming sessions and when you make an appointment, you’ll be able to try out the new King C. Gillette range at the hands of an experienced barber.

The new line of grooming tools and products is a curated selection that caters for a variety of grooming needs. Hydrate and soften your beard with the King C. Gillette Beard Oil, keep your neck looking neat with the Neck Razor or tidy your facial hair with Gillette’s Beard Trimmer.

You can also get your hands on a Soft Beard Balm and Beard & Face Wash, which are infused with a new fragrance of fresh citrus and sparkling ginger, combined with pink pepper and crispy mint nuances. The addition of geranium bourbon and soothing lavender rounds out the sophisticated scent.

If you’re keen for a shave at the Bondi pop-up, pay attention to the new Double-Edged Safety Razor from the range, which according to Boss Hunting, was originally pioneered by Gillette founder King C. Gillette back in 1901.

To book an appointment at the KCG Barber Shop, head to the Gillette website to secure your spot.
