In the last few years, streaming services have found a niche that not only brings the drama but allows us inside the luxurious homes of some of the world’s richest people.
From Selling Sunset to Million Dollar Beach House, audiences cannot get enough of the trials and tribulations of some of the top real estate agents and their lavish lives.
Australia is attempting to take a piece of the real estate docu-series pie, with Amazon Prime commencing production on a brand-new unscripted real estate series which follows three elite real estate agents as they negotiate multi-million-dollar deals in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world; Sydney, Australia.
Featuring Gavin Rubinstein, D’Leanne Lewis, and elite buyer’s agent Simon Cohen, viewers will be transported into the fast-paced world of buying and selling high-end, luxury real estate.
Simon Cohen (pictured above) founded Cohen Handler, which has today become the largest property buyers agency in Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane while Lewis is a Principal agent of Laing+Simmons Double Bay. As well as being a licensed real estate agent, she is responsible for the sale of some of Sydney’s most sought-after properties.
Rubinstein owns The Rubinstein Group in Sydney’s Woollahra and was awarded Ray White’s number one salesperson across the state of New South Wales for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Like their US counterparts, we will follow their intense professional and incredible personal lives as well as be taken on tours of the most breathtaking homes in the exclusive Sydney property market.
“Sydney’s real estate market is unlike any other in the world, it’s a brilliant mix of big personalities, spectacular properties and high-stakes deals,” Chris Culvenor – CO-CEO of Eureka Productions said in a statement.
“Sydney’s real estate sales continue to grow each year, and at the heart of these multi-million-dollar deals is the outstanding local real estate agents.”
Being set in Sydney, the yet-to-be-named series will be filmed on location around Sydney — and as someone who lives here, this couldn’t be more exciting.
