After launching its first Australian store in Penrith, Five Guys is opening up its second location, this time in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
The restaurant can be found in the busy pedestrian concourse between George and York Street, underneath Spiden House—an 1880 Victorian Free Classical seven-story heritage-listed building.
Surrounded by corporate offices, vibrant nightlife and fashion retail, we can expect Five Guys to be packed during all hours of the day.
Building on the popularity and success of its first outlet, Seagrass partnered with building landlords, PGIM and FIFE Capital to open in this prime site in the city to make the iconic American fast-casual restaurant more accessible to greater Sydney.
For those unfamiliar with Five Guys, it’s best known for serving up all-time American favourites that include, freshly made in-house and fresh-to-order delicious burgers labelled as ‘awesome’ around the world. There are 15 customisable toppings and the in house hand-cut fries are legendary. They’re also cooked in peanut oil, which is their claim to fame.
Five Guys George Street will open Monday, June 6.
