Across the course of a season, these farmers meet a group of potential partners who are after a spot of love in the countryside. As things progress, each farmer goes on dates with each of their contestants, gradually narrowing down their options until they find the one person that they want to have a relationship with. They might even find the person that they marry.

The host of Farmer Wants a Wife is Samantha Armytage. Samantha is an Aussie broadcaster and journalist best known for co-hosting Sunrise alongside David Koch from 2013 to 2021.
In 2022, Samantha was a special host on Farmer Wants a Wife, and she’s been officially hosting this series since 2023.
According to Samantha, everything that will happen on this season of the show will be completely authentic.
“This is not made up,” Samantha said. “Whatever happens, happens.”
