Farmer Wants a Wife is in full swing, but the road to true love has been a rocky one thus far. Now, guest host Samantha Armytage is here to lend a hand, bringing in 10 new potential loves for our farmers. Could one of these latecomers be the game-changing love connection our farmers are searching for?
This season, we’re following Farmer Ben, 27, from Wingham, NSW, Farmer Harry, 24, from Kyabram, VIC, Farmer Will, 26, from Berriwillock, VIC, Farmer Benjamin, 33, from Guyra, NSW, and Farmer Paige — the show’s first female farmer — who’s 28 and from Cassilis, NSW.
One of Sam’s picks for Farmer Harry is Bec, a 26-year-old account manager from Queensland.
Bec applied for Farmer Wants a Wife because after a friend sent her Farmer Harry’s bio, she found herself “a little bit smitten”.
“We share similar values and interests,” Bec explained in a press statement. “I understand that community is key in rural areas, so I would imagine myself being involved both on the farm and within the community.”
Describing herself as “health conscious”, Bec added: “I love the idea of living off the land and being close to nature. It’s the kind of childhood I would love to give my kids one day.”

Bec chose Farmer Harry because she believes that “there is [a] natural synergy” between the two of them, and she’s hoping to explore that on the show.
“He seems to have a spirit that matches mine,” she explained. “I love his sense of humour and genuine nature already. He seems switched on, thoughtful and easy to be around. I think we would get along well and have great chemistry.”
When it comes to love and relationships, Bec said that she’s all about going with her intuition.
“I have a strong feeling that I’ll know when the right person comes along,” she said.
“I would say I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I haven’t met too many people who have completely and totally captured my attention and affection,” Bec continued. “It’s not only important for me to find love in another person, but to find a person who will complement me.”
Will Farmer Harry be that person who complements Bec? Only time will tell. Until then…
