While the Academy Awards (informally called the Oscars) is considered the highest honours for film, the Emmy Awards are the top distinctions in TV. For both awards shows, however, the red carpet is equally as important — if not more, depending on who you ask — as the ceremonies themselves.
This year’s Emmys were held in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 19 in the US (Monday morning here in Australia).
