Get to Know the Iconic Judges of 2024’s ‘Dancing With the Stars Australia’

The 2024 judges of Dancing With the Stars Australia

On Dancing With the Stars Australia, the audience is the ultimate judge. Last year, Australia got to choose if Home and Away’s Emily Weir or Human Nature’s Phil Burton would win this series. After a fierce freestyle by Emily, Phil danced his heart away in a captivating rendition of Wilson Pickett’s Land of 1000 Dances. In the aftermath of these two dances, Australia voted Phil into first place. He won the coveted Mirror Ball trophy and $50,000 for a charity called the NSW Police Legacy.

However, before Australia gets to judge the Dancing With the Stars cast, these celebrities dance before a panel of experts. Their dances are then praised, critiqued, and scored. These judges can even eliminate low-performing contestants.

So, who are the judges on the 2024 season of Dancing With the Stars? What gives them the right to judge this show’s celebrities? Let’s twirl into the details now.

Craig Revel Horwood: The epitome of theatrical flair and unapologetic wit. After first learning how to dance in London’s West End, Craig has gone on to become a reality TV institution. Not only has been a judge on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing since its 2004 inception, he has starred in the UK’s 2021 season of The Masked Singer.

What’s more, Craig is known for being a harsh judge who never pulls his punches. Dancing With the Stars Australia cast, beware.

Sharna Burgess

Across the width of Australia, Sharna Burgess has mesmerised audiences with her dazzling ballet and infectious passion for dance. Her other areas of expertise include jazz and contemporary.

Before becoming a judge on Dancing With the Stars Australia, Sharna actually worked on this show. She was a professional dancer that taught a celebrity each season how to dance. Over the course of doing this job, she won third place once, second place three times, and first place once. When it comes to Dancing With the Stars commentary, Sharna knows what she’s talking about.
