Chrissy Teigen is by far the most relatable person in Hollywood.
From her hilarious Instagram posts featuring her children, Luna and Miles, to her savage clap-backs on Twitter, the 34-year-old is well known for her ruthless and hilarious approach to life (and social media).
So, last night, she took to Twitter answering fan questions in an AMA about what it’s like to be a celebrity, kicking off with a peek at a junk drawer (which we’re assuming was hers)…
it’s celebrity question asking time! Ask me, your favorite A list celebrity anything you would like to know about being a super huge A list celebrity https://t.co/R5Sshc2O7H pic.twitter.com/ppEfNnqHB2

“It’s celebrity question asking time! Ask me, your favourite A list celebrity anything you would like to know about being a super huge A list celebrity,” she tweeted.
And ask her, they did.
Not only did we learn a lot about Teigen, but some insanely juicy insight into life as an A-Lister — she is, after-all, married to EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) winner John Legend.
So, if you don’t have time to read through every Tweet, here’s a list of all the fascinating things we learnt from one of our favourite celebrities, Chrissy Teigen.
On the perks of being a celebrity…
When a fan asked her “what it was like to be a celebrity,” Teigen responded:
“It is good because I am comfortable but I have an awesome life and zero life all at the same time [sic].”
Another fan was interested in the perks Teigen has received, and you’ll find that “travel” seems to better when you’re an A-Lister.
“No one gives my kids nasty looks on the plane,” she wrote.
“If anything, they’re creepily nice and it is crazy unfair because they are just as annoying as other kids on a plane.”
And then there was this:
“How the frick do most celebrities travel on planes? Are you ever just hustling through the airport trying to make it to your gate on time?” one user asked.
“There is a terminal a mile from the airport that you pay membership for. they do the same security privately and take you to the plane in a car. I know. I know. [sic]”
WHAT?! We’ve never felt this kind of jealousy before.

Of course, another massive perk of being a celebrity would have to be booking a table at a restaurant.
“I make reservations and don’t give them the option to say no,” she revealed.
“‘Hi it’s Chrissy Teigen and id like to make a reservation for 2 for John legend, do you have any availability?’ if you just say ‘hi can I make a reservation for 2?’ they say no. gotta say it all at once.” Sage advice.
But, the one perk she feels guilty about? “Money”.
On doing “normal” activities…
So, how do celebrities wake up everyday? Like normal humans, apparently.
“John sets an alarm but leaves it in the bathroom while he makes the kids pancakes and I have to get up to cancel it. I get very upset,” she said, before answering another fan’s question about what “normal” thing she misses most.
“grocery store but I still try [sic],” she answered and imagine not being able to go to the shops on your own!
But it’s not all doom and gloom, because if she can’t go, she has the hired help. Except if it’s their birthday and “you gotta go yourself”. Poor, Chrissy.

During the session, we also found out that Teigen hasn’t used public transport in ten years because she “Uber’s a lot” and she pays off her house just like any other house-owner with “payments”.
On being in the public eye…
One thing we found really interesting, was Teigen’s overview of what happens with celebs and the media.
When someone asked her if she worries about her safety and privacy, she responded:
“Yes but also I know that a lot of ours comes from being so open. So you just let security know you’re okay with hugs and conversation. But my house is a fortress.”
But when they go on holiday, it can be pretty tough to keep a low-profile.
“I’m super paranoid but there’s nothing that can be done even if you have security” she said when one fan asked what the process was for the family to go on holidays.
“Some resorts call photogs. It sucks. But whatever it’s life! [sic].”
And guys, if you’re thinking of becoming a celebrity, and want to go out for a movie date night, think again. It takes a lot of work.
“I go maybe once a month or less,” she admitted. “Only if I worked earlier and have my hair and makeup done already.”

On celebrity perks we thought were great…
If you’re an entertainment junkie, then going to an awards ceremony in the US might be high up on your bucket list, however, Teigen has some bad news.
When asked what it was like going to an awards ceremony, Chrissy responded:
“unbelievably boring and you are pulled in 100 different directions and yelled at to sit down. the bar is never close to you and everyone is so mean to seat fillers, I dunno why anyone wants to do it [sic].”
But when it comes to red carpets, they’ve become a lot easier.
“no you start to know and have relationships with a lot of people. and I used to do them so I feel for them! it is NOT EASY [sic],” she said.
On being a celebrity parent…
Just like any other parent, Teigen takes Luna, three, and Miles, one to the dentist and doctors appointments (this was actually surprising).
And she’s also OK with you talking to her kids.
“I know they’re being sweet,” she said. “A lot of people touch and hug which is weird to most people but I’m also a toucher without realizing. I dunno. I’m not mad at touch but I get people who are [sic].”
But, when it comes to the paparazzi, Luna hates them. And we don’t blame her, it sounds pretty horrific.
“In New York they don’t really hide and they apologize when she freaks and stop photographing. here in LA, they’ve learned to hide more and you don’t know you’re being photographed. I’d rather know [sic].”

For celebrities, running a household can be like running a business.
The Teigen/Legend household has a house manager “who works at the house all day to handle our lives and day to day business, packages, scheduling for household staff,” and four nannies. “Not all at once. One will rotate and stay through the night.”
And what do the kids think about their very famous parents being on TV? Frankly, “they do not care less”.
On how fame has changed her…
And finally, one fan asked what Chrissy thought was “a very good question”.
“I dunno, honestly. I still see things from every perspective. But I’m also highly anxious and perceptive so it’s kind of hell for my own mind. But also good? I like that I can help people but my own self is kind of…stuck?
Quite frankly, we’re stoked to finally know how celebrities get through airport security.
