If you needed any more convincing that Sacha Baron Cohen is aiming to convince at least some of the world’s population that Borat is a real person, then this is it.
The comedian has now set up a Twitter (and Tik Tok) account for the fictional character and in some tongue-in-cheek first posts, has called out Trump for how he has handled the pandemic.
While you’d think he’d be quick to criticise, he actually praises the leader of the US but of course, if you read between the lines, he’s doing anything but.
Trump so strong he did not even need to drink bleach to stay alive!

Trump would have leave hospital sooner, but he nice and did not want to hurt covid’s feelings

Trump is great benefactor! All Americans will also have the drug he have a stake in

In one very confronting Tweet, Borat is seen wearing his new kind of mankini — a hospital grade face mask.

Baron Cohen’s comedic chops and intelligence knows no bounds because it’s no easy feat saying what everyone else is thinking without actually saying it.
He’s wild and unpredictable, but it’s really what the world needs right now.
The Trailer For the ‘Borat’ Sequel Has Arrived and Well…
Original story published on October 2, 2020
In 2006, the world was introduced to Borat. A Kazakh TV talking head who was dispatched to the United States to “report on the greatest country in the world”.
Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, had the world was mesmerised by the character who dared to wear a bright green mankini in public and con people into thinking he was a real person.
The British comedian, who had already gained popularity with another outrageous caricature, Ali G, was thrown into the global sphere, prompting a slew of other roles. However, after 14 years — and we daresay, popular demand — Baron Cohen is bringing Borat back for round two.
The follow-up titled, Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan, is debuting before the US presidential election in November and is a no-holds-barred satirical political minefield of jaw-dropping antics.
On October 2, Baron Cohen and the team at Amazon Prime — who are releasing the sequel — gave fans a glimpse at the movie with a brand new trailer.
14 years after the first one, Borat is now a recognised figure around the world — making filming a little bit harder.
In the clip, Borat travels with his daughter i.e. Sandra Jessica Parker Drummond to the US “to give as a gift to someone close to the throne [the White House]” and even dresses as President Donald Trump, interrupting a Mike Pence at a rally.
“Michael Pe-nace — I’ve got the girl for you!” he screams. It’s certainly a laugh-out-loud moment.
According to Deadline, Baron Cohen “risked his life multiple times to shoot scenes in this film”, and even had to wear a bulletproof vest to ensure his safety.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Borat without cringe-worthy moments. One example? When Baron Cohen, dressed as a new character, tells a Pastor that he impregnated his own daughter and asks him to “take it out”. Ooft. This film is not for the faint hearted.
The second movie, which was filmed and completed in secret during the global coronavirus pandemic, is slated for a release on Amazon Prime on October 23.
Baron Cohen’s revealed the date alongside a hilarious poster on his Instagram on October 1 with a very Borat caption.
“Jagshemash my name Borat Sagdiyev, I like mouth party. Thank you Mr. Sacha Karen Cohen for let me usings your visual fax machine. Please you will look on this space tomorrow at 8.07pm Kazakhstan Time. Chenquieh [sic].
On September 30, the day of the Presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, a fake Kazakhstani Twitter account was set up with a congratulatory message to the current President, providing a teaser into the film.
“Congratulation to great friend of the Kazakh people [Donald Trump] for winning debate today!” the tweet read, “Impressive and amazing result for a strong premier who always put America and Kazakhstan first! [sic]”
The video accompanying the tweet rips into the current President, notably mentioning his avoidance of a military draft, the coronavirus pandemic numbers (“Because of Trump, 350 million Americans still alive”) and a nod to his friendship with convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. It’s a lot to take in.

Back in June, Baron Cohen, dressed as the leader of a political action committee, made an appearance at a political rally in Washington, where he went on to prank a conservative group of voters into singing racist lyrics about President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Dr Anthony Fauci and the “Wuhan flu.” Accompanying him was his own security team who were able to stop organisers kicking him off the stage.

If his sequel is anything like the original, it’s going to be an uncomfortable watch — mostly due to his encounters with real-life people and their real-life views.
Baron Cohen won a Golden Globe for his titular role as Borat and the original script was even nominated for an Oscar.
One thing is for sure, Baron Cohen certainly knows how to draw a crowd — and with the absurdity of the rat race that is the current US election, this next film will be no exception.
Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan will premiere on Amazon Prime on October 23.
