In the early 2000s, Big Brother had everyone in a chokehold. Moving from network to network, the show has been around for years, and for good reason.
Now, Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders is set to kick off, and while we know the “Royalty” well, it’s time to get to know the new housemates.
First up is ex-model Josh. Hailing from Byron Bay, Josh has been featured in campaigns for some huge publications and brands, such as Calvin Klein and Vogue Italia.
And after leaving that life behind him, he’s now ready to take on a new adventure: Big Brother. In the latest promo for the show, Josh proves that he’s not one to be messed with.
“I want to be a leader in the house, I have no desire to be a sheep,” he says. “I probably will get underneath people’s skin.”
Not only is he in it to win it, but he’s ready to cause chaos. “We’re here to win a game, do you want to keep playing happy families?” he asks his fellow participants, resulting in sheer shock all around.
Admitting to being “very direct”, Josh says that he isn’t afraid to “step on toes and ruffle feathers” because he’s not on the show to make friends.
It seems we have the villain of the season in front of us, but of course, we’ll just have to wait and see.
In a shot of him running along the beach with his dog, Josh talks about being single. But don’t expect a cute love story anytime soon.
“God forbid I fall in love in [the house],” he says, before stating that he’s “open to it.”
Big Brother Royalty vs New Contenders is set to air soon, with the full list of contestants being announced last week. Fans will see some of their favourites return to the small screen, and we’re sure it will bring about a wave of nostalgia.
