Mykonos is synonymous with beach clubs and nightlife amongst the Greek Islands. People from all over the world flock to the island to see its clear waters begging to be jumped in and white homes spilling down arid hills. But also, they come to Mykonos to party.

From chilled beach club vibes with sun loungers, background house music and an array of water sports, to dance spots that’ll leave your ears ringing and where dancing on tables is encouraged, this is our edit of the best beach clubs in Mykonos to party at this Euro summer.
Scorpios
Scorpios is one of Mykonos’ most well-known beach clubs, opened in 2015 by Germans Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel who’d spent a decade on the island. Heyne and Hertel envisioned it being a modern interpretation of an ancient Greek ‘gathering space’. Check the club’s summer season programming to see what’s on and book ahead as it books out, particularly when big-name DJs and artists are on.
Elia Beach Club
Elia is a Mykonos resort, but its beach club is open to non-guests, provided you book a sunbed ahead. The beach club here is chilled, geared towards those keen to relax. When you feel like getting your heart racing, enjoy one of the club’s many water sports, like parasailing, waterskiing and wakeboarding.
Ftelia Beach Club
Ftelia Beach Club is the vision of Paris-based designer Fabrizio Casiraghi. The colour theme is burnt orange and terracotta, with a restaurant at the top of an arid hill and the club spilling down to the sea. Afternoon entertainment comes in the form of live jazz musicians and house-music DJs. On the menu is Mediterranean cuisine favourites lobster, sea urchin and taramosalata.
Tropicana Beach Club
It’s free to enter Tropicana Beach Club, open from late April to late October, but sun loungers or VIP tables come with a fee. The beach club features two pools, swim-up bars and headphones if you’d prefer to listen to the tunes you choose. Tropicana also has a hotel so you can easily crash after a day and night of dancing.
Paradise Beach Club
One of the oldest, if not the oldest, beach club in Mykonos, Paradise Beach Club opened in 1969. Since then, it’s hosted some of the world’s best DJs for its ultra-long summer season, April to October. Day parties start at 4pm, while night festivities kick off at 10pm. For guaranteed entry, book a beachfront or VIP booth.
Kalua Beach Club
You’ll find Kalua Beach Club in the protected area of Paraga, with a large rock you can swim out to and sunbathe on. The beach club layout comprises three areas: VIP bungalows, classic sunbeds and front row cabanas. Spend your time here tucking into the beach menu, sipping from the wines and cocktail list or smoking shisha. Or book a massage with the masseuse directly on the beach.
Sant Anna Mykonos
Open from May ‘til end of September, Sant Anna Mykonos at Paraga Beach is home to the largest seawater pool in the Mediterranean, which winds through the beach club, lined with sunbeds. After a meal at its restaurant, relax on a sunbed or in a cabana by the pool and watch the sun dip behind the horizon, turning a dusty pink and orange.
Nammos
Nammos has locations around the world in Dubai, Cannes and Mykonos at Psarou Beach. Opened in 2003, the beach club serves fish fresh from boats that arrive on the island each morning and traditional Mediterranean fare. If you’ve got cash to splash, book one of four private cabanas, each with their own bar and hot tub. If you want to spot celebs, this is the place to do it. Everyone from Hollywood royalty to actual royalty hits up Nammos.
Spilia Sea Side
Thirty-year-old venue Spilia Sea Side errs more on the side of restaurant, though it does play thumping tunes. ‘Spilia’ means ‘cave’ in Greek, and that’s what the space resembles, looking out at cove Agia Anna, next to Kalafatis Beach. Fish comes straight from the Aegean, while oysters, mussels, urchins, crayfish and lobster await your order in a natural sea pool.
Cavo Paradiso
Opened in 1993, Cavo Paradiso is an open-air club, perched on a cliff overlooking the Aegean Sea. It’s built from locally sourced materials, which gives you a feeling of being in nature. Tiesto, Deadmau5, The Chainsmokers, Skrillex and Carl Cox are just a few of the major artists who’ve performed at Cavo Paradiso. Book a table or individual tickets.
