The Bachelor or The Bachelorette chooses someone, and fans of the runner up riot and call for them to be the next choice to have their own journey to find love.
This season is no different.
After weeks of whittling down Australia’s finest men, and some less fine ones also, Angie Kent chose Carlin Sterritt as her beloved, and sent her bohemian weirdo Timm Hanly packing, despite calling him her “soulmate”.
Timm, who was pretty sure he was going to win her heart in the end, was crushed, as were his biggest fans.
In a tribute to Timm’s red carpet entrance, in which he gifted Angie with an absolutely MASSIVE bouquet of sunflowers, his supporters are spamming Angie and Carlin’s Instagrams with sunflower emojis.
It’s all very reminiscent of the whole Kim Kardashian vs Taylor Swift, #TaylorIsASnake Snapchat incident. Remember that? What a time.

Angie and Timm had an instant spark when they first bonded over their shared love for sunflowers.
“Did you know that I love sunflowers or did you just guess?!” Angie asked. “No,” Timm replied. “I just love sunflowers, I got one tattooed on my hand.”
And the rest, as they say, is history. Angie and Carlin are happy together, Timm will move past this and likely find himself on Bachelor in Paradise or as the next Bachie, and the world will continue to turn.
