Dubai’s newest luxury hotel is now open for bookings from next year. Atlantis The Royal features 44 suites with their own private infinity pools, a cocktail bar with the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium, and a club described as sitting among the clouds.
“Openings of resorts like this one only come around once or twice in a decade, and we can’t wait to share it with the world,” says Tim Kelly, Managing Director of Atlantis Dubai. “As these new images demonstrate, this is a resort like no other and the building itself will become an instantly recognisable icon of the Dubai skyline.”
The property has 795 rooms across six towers and 43 stories, looking out over the Arabian Sea and artificial Palm Island. Amenities are from luxury brands, including Hermes, Frette and Graff. Guests staying in one of the 44 suites or penthouses will have their butler service, available to help with unpacking luggage, clothes pressing and setting up local experiences.

The hotel is also home to 17 restaurants and bars. Among them is a Nobu, reimagined for the first time as a pool and beach club. Heston Blumenthal’s cocktail bar Resonance will be set against the world’s largest jellyfish aquarium, at 6.5m high and housing 4,000 moon jellies. Modern Pan-Asian Ling-Ling will be a day-to-night venue by hospitality heavyweights Tao Group Hospitality with views of the Arabian Gulf and glittering Dubai skyline.
Cloud 22 will be the star of the entertainment experience at Atlantis The Royal, with a 90-metre-long Skypool on the 22nd floor, connecting the six towers that form the hotel. You’ll be able to rent a VIP cabana with a private plunge pool, order drinks at a swim-up bar and dance to tunes from a heart-shaped DJ booth.
Finally, the hotel will be dotted with fountains and water installations — one of them the Skyblaze, a fountain that breathes fire, and the first and only water performance fountain in the Middle East.
The hotel will hold an opening Grand Reveal party in January. If the Atlantis The Palm’s opening in 2008, which saw Robert DeNiro, Kylie Minogue, and Priyanka Chopra is anything to go by, it’s set to be a star-studded event.
