This Professional Hair Kit Will Give You Salon Quality Colour at Home

BODA

With stage four restrictions in place, this Melbourne-based salon has pivoted its offering while closed. The team at BODA, which have three salons in Prahran, Malvern and Richmond, are now spending their time creating offerings that customers can use at home.

One such offering is the BODA Home Colour Kit, which allows you to colour your hair from the comfort of your own home. For those currently living in lockdown in Victoria, this is a perfect pick-me-up.

The thought of colouring your own hair at home might feel daunting but the team at BODA has you covered. When you purchase the kit, you’ll also receive a 30-minute virtual appointment on FaceTime or Zoom with an expert BODA colourist who will walk you through the entire process.

The kit also includes a colour for your roots and ends tailored to your hair specifications (regardless if you’re a new or existing client) a bowl, brush, application glove, clip for sectioning the hair.

If you are a new client wanting to try out the Home Colour Kit, you’ll just need to take a picture of your head for the BODA team to curate your colour. Existing clients, on the other hand, will already have their colour history recorded.

The kit caters to all hair colours whether it be blonde, balayage, brunette or grey and gives you hair a nice refresh when you’re unable to get to the salon in person. And, while it might not seem like much, giving your hair a freshen up can lift your spirits exponentially.

“The BODA Home Colour Kits is an opportunity to connect with the wider Melbourne community and build our brand outside the salon,” said Martha Kourtidou chief executive and owner BODA Hair Boutique.

“We’ve taken a new approach in stage four and realise now more than ever people are taking better care of their hair. We want to be on-hand (virtually) to share our knowledge and tips on how to maintain good hair.”

The BODA Home Colour Kits cost $119. Head online to the Boda website to learn more.
