My pals, it’s Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition time. What’s more, to nobody’s surprise, this season will feature a slew of celebrities, like Dane and Bow Simpson, the father-son duo who have jumped aboard the Amazing Race train.
Dane is a famous Aussie, and Bow is a regular person, but do they have what it takes to slay this competition? Or will they hit rock bottom? Here’s what we know.
Dane and Bow Simpson Vs The Amazing Race
Dane Simpson is a Wagga Wagga comedian who’s been killing it. He has featured on The Weekly, Comedy Up Late, and Have You Been Paying Attention?
Bow Simpson works for the Dharriwaa Elders Group. This charity has been fighting for the NSW town of Walgett to receive clean drinking water, as it hasn’t had clean, drinkable tap water for five years.
The Dharriwaa Elders Group, and Dane and Bow Simpson
In this season of The Amazing Race, Dane and Bow Simpson are competing for the Dharriwaa Elders Group. If they win this competition, their charity will win $100,000. This money will then go towards supplying Walgett with clean drinking water.
“Dad spends a lot of time in Walgett, has a house there,” Dane said in a press statement. “He lives there half the time, and he lives in Wagga Wagga. We think everyone in Australia should have access to clean water to drink.”
