Alicia Keys will debut her tenth studio album Keys on December 10, with the 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist offering up a double record that invites fans into her world through a collection of all-new songs, recorded two ways.
The tracks feature on both the Originals and the Unlocked side of the double album, the layer of which Keys worked on with Grammy Award-winning producer Mike Will to give the tracklist a fresh new sound. As the beloved artist explained on her social media accounts, “There’s two sides to every story, and there’s two sides to every song on Keys so you get the vibe with two sides of me.”
Keys is also continuing to remind us of why she is the number one certified, female R&B artist of the millennium with her sultry, yet vulnerable new single, ‘Best of Me’ with both the Originals and Unlocked versions out now.
The new album will also feature ‘LaLa’ the first single Alicia released from the album in November 2021, featuring Swae Lee, along with ‘Best of Me’ and more new tracks.
Following the release of ‘LaLa’ Keys also released her intimate performance docuseries for YouTube Originals title Noted: Alicia Keys The Untold Stories, which she executive produced. All four episodes are available to watch now on Alicia Keys’ YouTube channel.
While she needs no introduction, Keys has racked up some undeniable accolades over the course of her decade-plus career. Across her biggest-selling singles, the artist has accumulated over 8.2 billion streams and has sold over 90 million records worldwide.
In addition to her 15 Grammy Awards, Keys has also been the recipient of 17 NAACP Image Awards and 12 ASCAP Awards, as well as receiving awards from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and National Music Publishers Association. That would be impressive enough but she was also named twice in Time Magazine’s list of 100 Most influential people first in 2005 and again in 2017. Additionally, on the release of her first live album Unplugged in 2005, she became the first woman to have an MTV Unplugged album debut at number one.
Keys might well add yet another Grammy to her mantle in 2022, too, with a nomination in the Song of the Year category for ‘A Beautiful Noise’ on which she collaborated with Ruby Amanfu, Brandi Carlile, Brandy Clark, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, Linda Perry and Hailey Whitters.
Keys will be available to purchase and stream from December 10, 2021. wherever you find your music.
