Get ready to say goodbye to the teens at Liberty High School.
Netflix has released the official trailer for the final season, which is set to premiere globally on June 5.
In this final instalment, the story follows the students who are now seniors preparing for graduation.
Being 13 Reasons, nothing comes easy for these kids and before they can actually say their goodbyes, they will have to keep a dangerous secret buried, as well as face “heartbreaking choices” that may impact their futures forever.
We learn a lot from this new trailer — which you can watch below — the words “Monty was framed” are spray-painted onto doors at Liberty High.
Monty a.k.a Montgomery de la Cruz, a bully who (Timothy Granaderos) was the violent teenager who raped Tyler (Devin Druid), died in the third season of the show, keeping him from denying accusations that he killed Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice).
However, it appears that someone isn’t willing to let Monty take the fall for the crime.
“I think we may have a few problems,” Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) says.
The trailer is pretty powerful stuff — police, paranoia, hallucinations and a big decision for Clay.
“Are you ready to let those secrets out?” he is asked.

In another trailer released by Netflix on May 12 (you can watch below), the cast and crew are at their final table read, saying farewell to a show that they have been a part of for five years or more, and for its very young cast, it’s one they have essentially grown upon.
The video sees the cast hugging, crying and taking their final bows — and be prepared, it’s an emotional one.
Throughout its first three seasons, 13 Reasons Why (which was based on the novel by Jay Asher) has seen mixed reviews, with many praising it for its bold take on mental health, sexual assault, bullying and violence, however, it was also seen as a concern for the impressionable teens who watched it.
After the first season aired, a disclaimer video was added to each episode on seasons two and three, warning viewers about explicit the themes, while also adding in mental health hotlines at the end.
The first season followed the plot of the novel where Hannah Baker (Australian actor Katherine Langford) sends cassette tapes to her various classmates explaining her suicide, putting her friend Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) into the spotlight.
In season 2, there was an attempted school shooting and Hannah’s parents were embroiled in a legal battle with Liberty High School and in the third season, the story centred around star athlete and sexual predator Bryce Walker’s (Justin Prentice) murder.
The final season’s cast includes Dylan Minnette, Alisha Boe, Brandon Flynn, Miles Heizer, Grace Saif, Christian Navarro, Ross Butler, Devin Druid, Timothy Granaderos, Anne Winters, Deaken Bluman, Tyler Barnhardt, Austin Aaron, Inde Navarrette, RJ Brown, Steven Weber, Brenda Strong, Amy Hargreaves, Josh Hamilton, Mark Pellegrino and Jan Luis Castellanos.
