Win a 55″ LG TV and Sound Bar Worth $5,800 With The Latch

Whether you’re in lockdown 2.0 or not, you’d no doubt benefit from a new TV setup. There’s nothing quite like settling onto the couch at the end of a long workday and being so immersed in a show or film that you forget all about your daily stresses. And your home entertainment setup can make or break that.

So, to celebrate the return (or continuation) of those cosy nights in, not to mention those binge weekends, The Latch has teamed up with LG to give away an LG 55-inch C1 OLED TV ($3,959) and an LG SP11 Sound Bar ($1,849). Which, we’re pleased to say, is our most generous prize to date.

But the TV and Sound Bar are well worth it, with the TV boasting the best of the best in OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) technology. If you’re not familiar with OLEDs, they’re emissive displays that don’t require a backlight and so are thinner and more efficient than LCD displays, which do require a white backlight. Basically, it means blacker blacks and brighter colours.

Couple this with the Sound Bar, an item that should be included in every home entertainment setup, and you’ve got a winning prize on your hands. The LG Sound Bars are designed to match with LG TVs, and both this TV and Sound Bar are LG’s top-of-the-range models.

Anyway, all of this is to say that it’s amazing, and for one lucky reader, will be the new pride and joy of their home. To win this LG home entertainment prize pack, simply tell us in 25 words or less: ‘If you could insert yourself into a TV show, what would it be and why?’
